The aim of this kind of application is to allow people to enter/access warehouses and  avoid the exit via the entry. Sometimes a people-counting function is also required.
In addition, it is  generally requested to ensure that the gates will also open “on time” when customers are approaching the gate even while driving caddies, whereas parallel traffic should be rejected.

Our radar sensor GS-family (GS-1, GS-x, CGS-1) has been designed for this kind of application.
Basically the CGS-1 and the GS-x only allows detecting approaching objects/persons and therefore, allowing either to open the gate or to achieve an alarm function.

The GS-1, however, has 3 different outputs: one for opening, one for an alarm function and one for counting.
