Presence sensor with 1 infrared spot
1SAFE is an active infrared sensor
It enables accurate presence detection.
It works on the basis of background suppression (triangulation) and projects a single light beam.
1Safe also works either vertically (with background), or horizontally (without background, if applicable).
Infrared
- Active infrared sensor with background suppression.
- Distance measurement by triangulation.
- Capacity to monitor and record changes in background and environment.
- Intrinsic self-adjustment to variations in background and room temperature, making it reliable in all circumstances.
- PUSH & GO: for most common applications and system heights, a single push of the control button is all it takes… and the detection area adjusts itself automatically.
- MANUAL MODE: for specific uses (elevated heights, reflective floors, horizontal uses, etc.), a “manual mode” with adjusting screw and DIP-switches make it possible to set detection areas accurately.
- Planned integration.
- 1 spot 35 mm × 70 mm spot (at a system height of 2.2 m).
- Grey area < 0.15 m (at a system height of 2.2 m) with self-adjustment.

Setting
- Using a PUSH & GO system assisted by three coloured LEDs.
- Using 4 DIP-Switches.
- Using an adjusting screw.
