Background analysis (BA)
In this case, the sensor lights up one or several areas and analyzes the energy in return. A significant difference compared to the original picture triggers the detection.
If no object is within the field of view of the sensor, the energy “picture” caught by the sensor is the same as the one in the microprocessor memory. However, if an object enters the field of view of the sensor, the distribution of the energy changes and therefore the energy “picture” caught by the sensor as well.
Thus, this technology ensures the detection of presence of static objects in the field of view of the sensor.
